Queensland fire authorities issued an Emergency Warning for part of the South Burnett on Tuesday as a dangerous bushfire threatened rural properties north of Blackbutt.
At 12:14pm AEST, ABC Emergency reported that people around Stretton Drive and Scott Close at Teelah had been told to seek shelter immediately. A separate Prepare to Leave warning covered an area between Old Esk Road and Wild Deer Drive.
Further south, six homes were evacuated near Nundubbermere in the Southern Downs as another fire moved through the area. Authorities said no property damage had been reported there at the time of the update.
