India's Social Justice Ministry is promoting the SETU National Scholarship Portal mobile app as a single platform for eligible students to access key scholarship services.
The app supports registration, biometric authentication, application submission and status tracking for eligible beneficiaries of pre-matric and post-matric scholarships for Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes.
Students can also access user guides and support information without moving between multiple platforms. The system includes tools for institutional, district and state nodal officers who process and monitor scholarship applications.
The ministry says the app, launched in April, is intended to reduce procedural difficulties and make scholarship administration more accessible, transparent and efficient. It is available through both major mobile app stores.
