Cairns Regional Council said work carried out during the closure included garden and grounds maintenance, regular water treatment and balancing, servicing of mechanical equipment, electrical work, pressure cleaning and painting.
The community facility includes a 50-metre swimming pool, a covered grandstand with seating for up to 400 people and a barbecue area.
Current opening hours are 6am to 11am and 1pm to 6pm from Monday to Friday. The pool is closed on weekends and public holidays.
